As another door opens wide and broad for this tremendously gifted vocalist, Denise Strothers does not hesitate to acknowledge that all glory and honor belongs to God. The stage has been set and the time has come for her to take her place.
She's a wife, a mother, a sister, the daughter of a Pastor, and a friend. Denise is many things, but she is at the very core of her soul: "I am a worshipper," she says.
Denise serves as the Music Director at Dominion Church of Washington, D.C. , where she and her family attend. "There's power in getting people to really forget about themselves and focus on God to the best of their abilities, from the bottom of their hearts," Denise says. "I know that part of my mission, my calling, is to bring His people into a higher place of praise-that place where you lose yourself, that place of clarity where you can see His purpose and why you're going through certain things."
Denise is an ordained Elder and serves as the Leader of the Women in Dominion – a ministry designed to equip women for success in ministry, unity, and excellence. Additionally, she founded and directed the Intercessory Prayer Ministry and currently conducts Sunday morning prayer. She has achieved many great victories on behalf of DCW and the Body of Christ at-large. She is a teacher of God's word and is an encourager to the body of Christ. "I believe that God is ready to prosper his church like never before. I believe that one of my assignments is to prepare the church to get ready for increase before the return of our soon coming King."
